Deleted4868880User
NB, some spoilers if you haven’t played Old World Blues and Vanilla NV So had an idea... with the addition of Old World Blues, it occurred to be that you ought to be able to 'scan technology' and incorporate it into OWB robots and such - making them non-hostile in the process, and as guardians of Big MT... Or something along those lines. They would proceed to wipe out the Lobotomites etc (they'd need to be made not to respawn). But my main idea includes the platinum chip - you can scan it (at the sink CPU or whatever its called) and upload it to the securitrons that are completely mad in the Big MT complex and make them normal - so they fill in the above role. What you can do then is scan other tech. For example:AER14 Prototype (Laser rifle, look it up on the wiki) - you can then mass produce this weapon, or add it to the files on the Chip, and take it to Yes Man or Mr. House, and add it to your securitron army, making them a lot more effective in combat. I also think the option to customise the kit of your army (what weapons etc, what ammo) would be a good edition, as it would just make the whole independent road seem a lot more 'on your own terms' if you follow. Naturally, this could be applied to other factions - get the brotherhood new tech, gain rep etc. With the NCR and Legion you would have to make/strengthen supply lines and do other quests to upgrade their weapons (i.e, the quest from the ranger at the mojave outpost to clear the roads = NCR equipment and troop number +1 upgrade, and getting stuff for contreas at Camp Mcarran also = equipment +1 upgrade etc) This really is just a thought, but feel free to comment if you like it, or would consider doing it as a mod :) I would do it myself but as of this month I am 100% new to mods and wouldn’t trust myself to do anything too big. Could go horribly wrong... :nuke: I have a lot more ideas, so if you are interested feel free to ask :)Thanks
