lkzp
Title pretty much says it. I cant see the compass anymore. I tried to install immersive HUD now I cant see the compass (and yes I know you toggle it with X) however if I hold X it lets me select a new key to activate it (but still doesnt work). I uninsatlled iHUD but I still cant see the compass. In fact I uninstalled all my mods and its still not there. Any ideas on how to get it back? Cheers Edited July 4, 2012 by lkzp

Should be fixed Thanks for the reply, Yeah that was the first thing i checked. I know the value is "bShowCompass" and this was actually missing. I added it into [interface}: bShowCompass=1 but still no joy. Is that correct? The games perfectly playable without the compass, in fact i like it, but I want to be in control of whether its there or not. Any help is appreciated
lkzp
Maybe someone could send me a copy of their prefs file and I could see if that works?
worldofscotty
Yeah one of the first things I do is to turn off the compass entirely and remove the crosshairs. Makes the game much more immersive. One of your mods must be turning the compass off as this pref file is the control for that option. A mod loaded after the pref file must be overruling it. Are you using NMM. If so make sure not only are the mods installed but also the plugins? Download manually this iHUD and open it to a new folder and manually remove all the files and settings using these files as a reference Verify the integrity of the data files Edited July 5, 2012 by worldofscotty
