AltreU
So I've had Skyrim installed for about a week and as I add mods, it has started running slower as expected. I realized eventually that it's a little too slow. I've got a gtx 660 gpu, i7 cpu, and 8 gigs of ram on Windows 7. I did install it outside of the normal program files folder and I've noticed that it's only running as a 32 bit process. Is there a way to remedy this other than reinstalling it in the normal programs folder?

The game is not programmed to run 64bit thats why it says 32bit process have nothing to do with where you installed tha game they dident make a 64bit client for the game... and it seems like more ppl have lag witht the new update and parfprmance hit from it
Rennn
Nothing will make Skyrim run as a 64 bit process, it wasn't programmed for it.
AltreU
Ah, so it may just be a recent update that making it stutter?
Rennn
It could be, I've heard of that happening.
AltreU
Well, after messing around a little bit, I've noticed that it's only really bad in snowy regions. Guess I'll look into turning off such weather effects.
