bben46
These are not mods and do not install like mods. Therefore, they CANNOT be installed with the mod manager. The install instructions are included with the download.
rusiano
Yup, but I mean how to run fake fullscreen and 4GB and my mods from mod manager? tizerist
FF and 4gb have got NOTHING to do with any mod manager. You enable / manage your mods with the mod manager (and as ben said, those 2 are not mods, they are utilities) then close the manager, and boot your game with FF INSTEAD.Project Nevada should run as long as you enabled in in the MM, and NVSE is installed. rusiano
Oh, well the problem was because I had old version of Project Nevada game. Now I got new game and mods, so everything is ok when... I don't use fake fullscreen. Guys, I load all mods which I want by NMM and everything is ok. So I copy fake fullscreen and run game by this aplication. Unfortunately, I got many bugs messages about Project Nevada and PipBoy 2500 mod - messages are about that mods cannot be loaded because there's no NVSE (but in folder game there's NVSE, the newest version). This is message: http://www.picshot.pl/public/view/full/153501 So, now - how to fix this? When I use NMM all mods perfectly load but when I run game from fake fullscreen, mods don't work. Hope, you help me with it too. And anyway, NMM is very good and useful tool. :)
yoyoma64
@rusiano Well, I had a problem similar to yours after installing 4gb loader and Fake Fullscreen where nvse wasn't being recognized even though it was installed. Try running the game directly from the nvse launcher. If you get an error that says, "couldn't inject DLL", then start the game through Steam. After you've started the game through steam and you get to the main menu in the game, quit the game, and then try running the Fake Fullscreen and starting a new game to see if nvse will run this time. cndblank
Help for using NMMhttp://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Category:NMM You install 4GB in your Fallout folder (c:\games\steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas) and then install the rest like NVSE.Then then set NMN to do a custom launch. In NMN settings under the Fallout: New Vegas tab put the fallout New Vegas directory c:\games\steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas and then put fnv4gb.exe as the command in the custom launch command box. Set the launch button to do a custom launch. Then use NMN to install you mods. To play launch NMN and then click the Launch Customer Fallout New Vegas button on the upper left of NMN. To the others out there, is there any thing that has to be done so that 4GB will launch with NVSE? Edited July 6, 2012 by cndblank
