soldierhawk
Hi guys, I love Skyrim, but there are two mods I used in Oblivion that I really, really miss in this game. The first is Safer Roads--eliminating animal attacks along the roadways (not bandit attacks of course.) The other is a mod that increases the distance at which animals like deer, elk, foxes etc can perceive you, and making it harder to sneak up on them. For me at least, its no fun to go deer stalking when you can practically run into a herd of them full tilt before they even turn to run (and then they're so slow you can chase them down on foot anyway.) Just thoughts--I would really, really love to see these made!
OpenWorldAddict
I know this is a very old thread, but I was thinking of creating a thread with the same name before I saw this. One of things I love doing in Skyrim is traveling, just leaving one city/town/or village and heading to the next. However, I am tired of being mauled, assault, and mugged on the major roads connecting the major cities of skyrim. Now, I know there is a No Predators on the roads mod, and that's fine. However it does not take care of all the other hostile encounters. In fact removing wolves, bears, and sabrecats from the roads actually increases the chance that there will be another type of hostile encounter. Even installing mods that adds new travelers on the roads does not reduce the number of hostile encounters enough to not be a problem. So I definetely would like to see a mod that makes the main roads of skyrim generally safer for travel. This may not be lore friendly, but it does make for a better traveling experience.
