ZEDMIB
I was running FNV previously via Steam using Windows 7 with no problems I have upgraded to a newer PC using Windows 10 OS I downloaded a fresh install in Steam now all my DLC's show up as missing masters when I run Loot also the load order is goofed up see attachments. I deleted install and reloaded no effect.I was using merge plugins and you can see that the DLC's are in red and unchecked. The other difference is switched from Nexus Mod Manager to Vortex could this be the source of my problem?
dubiousintent
You said you did a "fresh install". Did you install the DLCs from the Client Library tab? Do you have them included as both "installed" and "active" in your Vortex "profile"? This is a problem with your use of Vortex, not the game itself. But you have a number of mods which require one or more of the DLC (none of which are "active"), which is why you are getting the "Missing Masters" error. Please see the tutorials in the 'Mod Managers' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. You also have too many active plugins. The limit is roughly 130-140, depending upon your system. (Only testing will tell, regardless of how new your hardware.) Please see the 'First Timer Advice', the 'Towards Game Stability', and the 'Common Game Problems' sections (at a minimum) of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. I really recommend you read the entire article. Please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as if you are using the FNV4GB Patch, NVSE and it's related plugins; replacements for textures (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), animations, or "bodies", etc.; and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX. It saves us playing "20 questions" and gets you a more specific answer more quickly. (The usual turn-around on post and reply in an older game forum is 24 hours.)* See "How to markup images (etc) in forum posts and comments" article for how to use "Spoiler tags".-Dubious-
