thanateros Posted August 1, 2003 Share Posted August 1, 2003 I made a seyda need house right next to the silt strider for my own use. it's medium size, nothing extravangent, complete with back patio for watching the sun rise and a hammock and overhang for just lounging around. inside there is a screened off study complete with two bookshelves (though one is mostly filled). there is a bed, closet, and table with tapestry's around the interior to add some flavor. deffinitely a mage/spellcaster/monk/priest hangout, but will be suited to any class. the library features the collection of books by Damian Maranus, who also has left a note for those who wish to stay. The only real thing that would set this building apart from any others are the library and the back deck (comes complete with an example of where too much laziness will take you. There are also several other suprises in the house but you'll have to figure them out on your own. I'm thinking of adding something underground like a basement, but i don't think it's necessary. if anyone is interested i could load it onto my website (which is a mess) to see if it's worth posting. I have a mage character who always is reading (I always make time to go to my local bookstore) so a library would be nice. And a patio....... sounds better than my Gloomy Cave in Bloodmoon. If you do the underground thing, make sure you have lots of crates and chests for people that like to collect armor, like me. I've got full glass, daedric, imperial templar, chitin, and every piece of bonemold. I just downloaded the adamantium armor plugin from the official site and i finally found all of the pieces, but i cant find any house that has enough crates for all my armor and weapons. There is Haldenshore, FTG, Seyda Neen Docks, and the newly released Seyda Neen Expanded that MIGHT conflict with your location.
