eklipse2012
I started this thread because my Skyrim is having some MAJOR issues these last few days, and I'm not sure the cause of them. I have the SkyUI mod installed via Steam Workshop, and in order to properly use it I have Skse Launcher installed. But two days ago, I came across an issue where skse launcher was out of date. So I decided to look for the updated version. When I found it, I did the stupid thing of copying the ENTIRE folder into my Skyrim folder (Program files (x86)\Steam\steam apps\common\Skyrim) including the enclosed data folder and everything, and my game started glitching. First it started with crashing as I load my file (not continue, but load), then crashing as I load my friend's file (continue, not load), and now I try to start a new game, but it just removes all words, leaves the Skyrim symbol, and just idles there. Please, if anyone knows what I screwed up and how to fix it, respond as soon as possible. Thanks,Eklipse2012

The logo stays there for 30+ minutes and doesn't move except for the smoke in the background, and the music continues playing.

Araucano
Oh boy, that sux. I had something similar happen to me too. I ended up deleting local content, nexus mods, deleting all files on "My Games" Skyrim files such as INI etc. ", as well as files in the skyrim workshop. Then i updated my catalyst files to newest stable version. I also downloaded latest SKSE and followed directions on how to install it with a YouTube video AND left out the SCR folder when i installed SKSE. Then i installed some mods via Nexus but i was very careful about which ones, and only a few at a time. Then i started the game and saw how it did with just a couple of mods at a time until it worked. I realized the order of mods has a BIG impact on how the game responds when i start it. I know this isn't much but i hope it helps a little. Good luck!
