Imperial Steel Cursais?

Split Infinity

Recommended Posts

Apart from the nearly infinite source found on Imperial Guards, additional cuirasses can be found in the following location:

-Pelagiad, South Wall

The above cell is actually the only cell where a free-standing Imperial (non-chain) cuirass can be found. All others are on NPCs.

A Duke's Guard silver cuirass, which also uses the LegionUniform script, can be bought from the Caldera Armourer.

The Lord's Mail is acceptable as Imperial uniform, as areTemplar and Imperial Chain cuirasses.

The Imperial Chain Armour, which is much more plentiful, can be found in Tel Vos, Central Tower, Tel Vos, Barracks and Armoury, Fort Pelagiad, the interior of Fort Moonmoth, the trader's in Caldera, and in Alusaron's shop in Vivec.

You can just add a plain Inperial cuirass via console by typing in

  Player->additem, "imperial cuirass_armor" 1

and enter.

If you want just a steel cuirass, not anything better like Lords Mail or Drakes Guard, then you can buy them at most Imperial Forts along with Pauldrons, Boots, Gauntlets and Greaves.

No- you can't. The pauldrons, bracers, and greaves, yes; not the cuirasses though. That's why I said you can only find one in the open in ONE location- Fort Pelagiad. All the others are equipped in NPCs or in containers.

Sorry this is a bit off topic... but does Drake's Guard use the same legionuniform script as the others? Because if it does, I'm gunna feel real stupid for running around in ugly chainmail that provided little to no armor for a chunk of the game.

Yes, Drakes Guard armor will also act just like the Imperial Steel Cuirass or whatever you get for advancing. (eventually you get Drakes Guard anyway) May I suggest that you get The Lords Mail? It is the unique cuirass for Heavy Armor, possibly the best armor in the game. I believe it also has the Legionscript, because you get it for a quest in the Legion for a man, and later (by what means I will not tell) you accquire it for yourself.

You can buy all imperial armor pieces. Some shop owner should have the curas along with the other pieces. The only problem is that there is a vicious circle since the people who tend to sell the imperial armor are members of the imperial legion. When you need the armor the imperial merchants who have it wont speak to you and when you have the amor you never really need to buy anything off of them because the stuff they sell is not tht great. The imperial armor is not that great and quite weak and other than for the purpose of working for the legion i woulld never use it.

On a side not, when you reach the highest level of the legion you never have to wear the imperial armor again and all members of the legion will talk to yo ureguardless.

No, you can't!!!! I just said that twice!!!! There is ONE instance of the Imperial Cuirass by itself in the game, in Fort Pelagiad! The others are actually ON people, or in containers.

Yes, I have already said exactly this HERE:

A Duke's Guard silver cuirass, which also uses the LegionUniform script, can be bought from the Caldera Armourer.
And it's DUKE'S Guard, not Drake's Guard. The drake is a monetary unit.

I've said this too. You really would do better to read the thread before posting:

The Lord's Mail is acceptable as Imperial uniform, as are Templar and Imperial Chain cuirasses.
