Dragon19
HI I have a problem. I'm trying to import Dragon Age 1 and Dragon Age 2 models into XNA Lara software but I cannot do it. I got a script to Blender 2.48a but it's not working. It shows these windows: Turn on the program and then 228.1 I received an error: http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/1346/37494120.jpg Then choose the Text Editor / New / Paste / Execute script Then I get the error: http://img859.imageshack.us/img859/6476/44963159.jpghttp://img857.imageshack.us/img857/7392/34879541.jpghttp://img411.imageshack.us/img411/8553/56677232.jpg What am I doing wrong? Please help me. Python-2.5.1 I downloaded and installed on the disk where the program. Does any of you works with XNA? I would like to learn how to extract models and textures form the game to use them in this software. Where I can find models form the game and DLCs, as well the model of the character that we make in the creator in the beginning of the game? Do you have a link to Python that works with 2.48a version? How can I join the armor and the helmet to make a 1 model, like here? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showpost.php?p=5328023&postcount=10601 Can you make a step by set guide? What should I do to run the model in XNA Lara? Please, it is very important to me. Pictures are enough. Is there a way to replace multiple textures? Because when it comes to the marks on the Mabari body, the are a lot of them. Can I replace the shape of the armor? For example, I would like to replace the Alister's armor with one from the add-on, etc. How can I do it?Please make a tutorial or give me some picture. I'm really not good with models :( Is it possible to import models of scenery? Buildings, statues, etc. Yours
StevoSegalovic
Your pictures are not available anymore so idk what kind of error you got. In order to import models to Blender you need Blender version 2.49 and Python version 2.6 coz this script http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/mods/268 works for that version. 3d modeling is not so easy to learn so i hope you know what you are getting yourself into. In order to use models and textures in XNA Lara software you would probably have to find a way to import them from Blender or some other way. To answer your other questions - yes all of that is possible if you want to learn how try to google for tutorials and answers.
Dragon19
I work with XNA Lara. I usually work with models I download from the internet. Unfortunately, there is still little models that I like and need. I use Blender 249 and 249.2. I've downloaded the "import-dragon-age-2-2011-03-26" script that should import mhh and msh files, but I encounter many problems with it. I cannot create a proper file for XNA Lara. For example: I wanted to import the Templar set but its bones look different than the ones in the model. After the import to XNA Lara I can only turn the set around because of the bones mismatching the model. The other problem I try to tackle is the error with statues. After the import of the Andrasta statue it does not have the UV and I'm getting the error. I have the texture but it lacks the UV. Can you tell me how to make the UV using a proper texture? I'm doing it for the first time and I don't know how to do it. Maybe one of you will help? Do you know how to process the Mor file to extract textures, models, bones, etc.? Other way they cannot be imported with the Blender script. I worked with it for over a week. Please help. More information
Dragon19
I miss models and textures from Dragon Age and Dragon Age II. I have found models and textures made by Sir Croft in the Internet, unfortunately I cannot find the textures he used. Maybe you know, in which erf file there are textures and of faces, brows and hair of Alistair, Cullen, Avelina. Wassley model and the other NPCs? I have found mor files, but I cannot open them. Do you know how to open msh from Dragon Age 1? Since I can not open. Mhh works, but not msh files. Do you have another script? Please, help me. You're my only hope.
