I was just thinking to myself... has anyone ever came up with the idea for a mood/emotion wheel in Origins? (Or text, telling you what dialogue options you choose will have what effect, such as with DA 2/DA: I, a heart/broken heart is used for romance/cutting off romance dialogues.) I just randomly wondered about if anyone has made the mod or if anyone else has thought of the same idea as well. It's just something interesting that popped up in my head. Has anyone thought of making this mod before?

I've never thought about it, but It's objectively an interesting idea you had a few years ago, just creating such DA2-like dialogue wheel is impossible for a few reasons. First of all, Dragon Age Origins has a lot more dialogue options to choose - in DA2 it was greatly simplified to three responses and a questioning line usually. In DA:O, every conversation brings many options to choose from and they aren't as clearly categorised as in DA2. It would require one to "judge" hundreds of lines if they're "sarcastic" or not. Secondly - the technical reasons, I've not seen any modder try to do that, on the other hand, I've seen a DA2 mod that tries to bring Origins-like conversation system to that game.

I'm of an opinion the next games in the series should've had the dialogue system like in Origins, not vice-versa, because a dialogue wheel literally limits one's options in a conversation and unnecessarily simplifies the dialogue system. But I respect your idea, I can imagine after playing DA2 and/or DA:I for more time than Origins, such a thought can occur. 😉
