AtomicAmelyn
I need some help with NifSkope and the GECK. I was editing an outfit in NifSkope and thing looked find, but when I wanted to incorporated it in the GECK some part of the meshes would disappear when I move it in the preview window. I'm posting a picture for an example:http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w127/niolani/outfitproblem00.jpg Anyone know how I could fix it? Thanks! carywinton
Verify your textures and meshes from your work in Nifscope are present in the data direcotry. If not then the GECK has no idea where to find them. That too could be another problem, make sure the GECK knows where to look for the textures and meshes. The meshes and textures are both present in the data directory. I suspect it to be a "shadow maps" problem, but I don't know enough about NifSkope to look into that. Quetzlsacatanango
Look under bsshaderpplightingproperty and find shader flags. shadow_map should be ticked for rigged meshes.
AtomicAmelyn
Look under bsshaderpplightingproperty and find shader flags. shadow_map should be ticked for rigged meshes. Shadow_Map has been ticked for all rigged meshes already. I don't know what's wrong. I'm not the original creator of this outfit, I just edited it a bit. Even if I try to view the unedited original meshes in the GECK, there's still part of the meshes going invisible. I'm even starting to think that the problem originated when that outfit was probably first created with Bender or something. Damn, I should really start to learn how to properly use Blender. Thanks anyway, Quetz.
orangedemi
damn this is right down my alley.first check your rigging. open up it up in nifskope.the 'parts' should be connected under only one scene root (is there more than one scene root?)check and make sure that the parts are separate an example is pictured below se how triupper body 1 and triupperbody 0 are under the same scene root and not under something like triupperbody.if its not like what is pictured you didnt rig right. this tutorial explains a lot and should help fix it http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/227460-creating-armor-mashups-in-fallout3-with-blender/
