antstubell
How can I make an outfit? I have all retextured armour that works great in game on player but I wanted some NPCs to wear it permanently. Tried adding items boots, gloves, cuirass and helmet to the NPCs inventory, selecting defaultourfit as none hoping they would put the armour on but they appear naked. I thought making an outfit would work so duplicated an outfit, renamed, clicked edit but I can't edit the items. No add or remove buttons. Puzzled here. Iv121
Simple. In the outfit category (which I believe you already found) right click and press "new" . Now find your armor in items -> armor and drag it into the outfit window. Press ok . Now go to your NPC and put default outfit as what you made. Didn't know you had to drag it in, CK a little sparse on tutorials.Maybe u can help with another problem I have, I want my character when it falls off a platform, have a platform kind of cell, to teleport to a respawn point. Suggestions have been to use an autoload door under the platforms, makes sense as I can put them at different heights depending on the fall from the platform, but teleport/respawn where? I've tired using 2 autoload doors, the respawn point in a corridoor earlier in the cell but my player has to pass through there and is teleported to the platform "fall area" everytime and consequently - falls. I'm stuck here.
Iv121
Make a fake door. Take a random door with a mesh and put it somewhere the player can't get to. When you link your autoload door to this one put the door marker where you want your player to teleport to. When he falls down he will be teleported to the door marker but because there is no door visible for him he can't interact with it and teleport himself back into the falling area. Excellent. 1 problem. When approaching the autoloaddoor I get the message "To cellname" How can I remove this?
Iv121
If you add a script that spams empty messages on trigger the message won't be visible.
