YojimBeau
could someone link me a good driver website, that carry's everything it would be nice. Or just the monitor drivers, mine is a (LG LCD monitor-L194wtx-BX) finding the right drivers is a pain. LG's website has a driver released 6-9-08. I DL'd it and opened up the L194WT driver and it shows max resolution of 1440x900. Sure hope this helps you out. http://www.lge.com/support/software.jsp

TheTerminator2004
Theres a simple way to tell if its a driver problem or not... you mentioned you have OpenSUSE installed, does it happen with that too? If so, then its a hardware problem, if not then its software... and therefore most likely drivers.
Thor.
It was the drivers, funny thing is it did happen with linux, i installed that fresh with xp. I do that time to time to keep things stable, every 6 months to be exact. Maintenance is the key to performance.
