yoyoma64
Well, I'm trying out using Project Nevada (all modules) and Cirosan's Classic Overhaul together, and while I installled both mods correctly and I don't have any specific problems with it, I noticed that in Cirosan's readme that it talked of a merged patch. Cirosan's readme did not specifically say "use a merged patch" and Cirosan's mod already comes with plenty of patches so that it will play nicely with DLCs and Project Nevada. So my question is: should I make a merged patch? If anybody has used these two mods in conjunction, let me know if you used a merged patch or not. Thanks in advance. luthienanarion
There is no reason not to make a merged patch.
Cyberlazy
Eh, Merged patchs are not always the awnser to everything. While yes, you are more likey to get changes from both mods, sometimes those changes do not really make much sense togethor. For example, if one mod rebalanced stimpaks by making them more expensive and another mod rebalances them by making them do less, you now have expensive stimpaks that do less. Depending how mods add items, you can end up with people having multiple guns/armors. If anything I would recommend carefuly checking over the merged patch with FNVedit, or considering trying with and without it and see how it goes. You should indeed check over everything that FNVEdit merges and change things to suit your preference. There is no fix-all when modding these games, of course.
