Serana won't talk to me. I've tried everything I could find.

Edit: SOLVED! It was Jaxxonz Renamer! I must've renamed Serana by mistake or something cuz her ugly ass face got in my way or something?? I don't know. I just hit reset all names which means I have to go around labeling every urn barrel and chest in my home again but whatever haha

 

Edit2: OH I JUST REMEMBERED! Serana killed a poor mudcrab that wasn't harming anybody, so I named her c*** as a stupid joke to myself. then I like undid it or changed it back or maybe it did it automatically I dont remember. I'm not renaming important people anymore.

 

What exactly happens is she follows me, she commets on the room, and I can talk to her when she talks to me first, but any other time she doesn't have the option. There it no "Press E to talk" or whatever followed by Serana's name. When she summons something it says "'s vampire thrall" with the apostrophe s but no name. When I tried to give her a name with Jaxonz Renamer, it says there is nobody there and asks if I'd like to rename the location.

 

I've tried everything I can find other than disabling mods and enabling them because that would take all day long. I have tried:

 

Figured out to sort my load order for the first time.

 

Kill and then resurrect

 

Disable and enable

 

Disable > prid 02002b74 > moveto player

 

Disabling Amazing Follow Tweaks.

 

Sleeping for 24 hours

 

Having her wait, fast travel away, and go back. She just follows me to where I fast travel to and doesn't wait.

 

Giving her chocolates and flowers and an apology.

 

Unequipping my weapons and armor

 

And lastly I've tried this: To bring back the "Come with me" dialogue after dismissing Serana, enter the code: sqv DLC1NPCMentalModel in the console. A long list of information is given. Scroll down the list using the page up and down keys, and make sure that the following codes: CanFollow_var = True / IsFollowing_var = False / IsWaiting_var = True / TurnOffComeWithMe_var = False / LockedIn_var = False are in order by looking at the false/true (i.e., if LockedIn_var was set to true then it needs to be put to false). To do this, enter the following command: setpqv DLC1NPCMentalModel LockedIn_var False. Once this is done Serena will be able to be recruited as a follower again.

 

TES5Edit says I have no dirty edits. This problem happened 2 days ago and last 2 days I've been playing skyrim all day, so I'm not about to go back to when I could talk to her and completely erase 2 days worth of progress.
