Game won't start, load order included

Ok, I installed it according to your guide and I can even play, WOW :P.

 

Only 2 stuff are wrong so far:

 

1) Some of my items are in german (also 2 skills, restoration is in german for example)

2) I have some missing meshes (Big yellow star with "Wtf, im a missing mesh in it), as far as I can see it are barrels.

 

I also get this error in fcom, but I download everything from the links in your document:

!!! FCOM INSTALLATION ERROR: Wrong esp file - the correct version is 'Oblivion WarCry EV' (the English Version). German version. Use bundled 'EV' english version instead as needed.

Note: (this version of FCOMhelper is English but open to foreign translations as long as co-author supplies all user-support)

Thanks for using the guide, and sorry if you are having problems. Like I've stated it's still a work in progress.

 

When creating the WarCry OMOD file be sure to use only one of the two ".esp" files for most people this will be the file "Oblivion WarCry EV.esp" (This is the English version of the WarCry plugin.)

 

As far as the missing meshs/textures issue check your oblivion data folder and make sure you don't have any ".dds" or ".nif" files hanging out in places they shouldn't be. All ".nif" files should be in the \meshes\ folder and all ".dds" files should be in the \textures\ folder. For many mods these files are usually placed into sub folders within the meshes and textures folders. (Ex. ...\Oblivion\Data\meshes\OE\Armor\Robes) I would suggest rechecking the file structure of your OMOD files to make sure they are setup properly. You mentioned you think that it is the barrels, I think that OOO changes the barrels so I would start there.

I tried reinstalling OOO and now my game won't even work anymore.

I am going to completly reïnstall it and follow the guide again. If it doesnt work this time (3rd try) Im just gonna play the game with Francesco's :P

 

 

Sorry your having problems with OOO. :confused:

 

Make sure you have the latest version 0.3.2 I added some updates to the WarCry and MMM install sections in v0.3 that were very critical, just search "install guide".

 

Also remember EVERY time you add/remove mods you must rebuild your bashed patch, or your game might not start.

 

 

 

I do the following for evey mod I add:

Add mod

Run FCOMhelper

Run WryeBash (rebuild bashed patch)

Run OBMM, move bashed patch to bottom of load order if it isn't already

Launch game

(should be good to go until more mods are added)

When I make an OMOD for OOO what esp and esm's do I need

 

I guess OOO.esm and OOO.esp, but their is also a map with OOO full, do I need that esp maybe?

 

Edit: I installed it with ooo.esm and ooo.esp and it seems to work (the guards wear capes :P)

If your making an OMOD from OOO, there is tutorial on the guide. But its easy enough

 

 

Open OBMM, Create, Add Archive (select the OOO.zip or however you downloaded it) and click Create. Thats it.

 

 

YOull know its working cos it takes f***** aaaaaaaaages.

Hooray, I reïnstalled Warcry, MMM, OOO and Francesco's and everything seems to work :)

 

Now I am going to install some minor mods, hopefully it will work :), but I got a backup ^^

For every one commenting here there is a new version v0.4 of my install guide on the TESNexus files section.

I would prefer if people posted questions or comments to the comments section in the file area so that I can keep track of things easier.

Just search "install guide"

 

 

In ver0.4

The DL links and Install instructions should be 99% perfect at this point.

Also I have almost finished writing the (Using OBMM Basics) section, this should be VERY help full to new people.
