endgamecutter
i had an idea, alot of people have characters who are either famous heroes of infamous villains, so wouldn't it be cool to be able to meet them? not as civilians though, maybe you could slay the great assassin Berior (example) and take his famous dwemer knife as your own, or maybe the holy paladin Malic has been captured by goblins in silvertooth cave and you save him, he gives you his legendary shield Hurin as a reward before leaving Cyrodiil? these are just ideas though, i thought it would be cool if a good modder could make the char's gear set for other players to take as their own, could it be done? TheLastIstari
It could, but it'd lead to a player squabble. But since many characters use mods, the filesize would be outrageous. Not to mention all the authors you'd have to contact. Everyone would fight over who's character would be the strongest. Many people want their character to be the absolute uncontested best. It's possible but very unlikely to get done.
endgamecutter
ah...good point... for the strength issue, one could always give a set limit to the power (ex. heavy armor is madness quality for maximum, light armor is amber, standard value can't go higher, and for enchanting, there could be a 3500 charge limit for each item, although staves could have higher.) not sure about the many people want their char included though, maybe a series on it (ex. stealth pack, holy pack, infernal pack etc.) with a 5 char limit to each pack, a poll could be hosted and the ones that the modders like best (that have permissions to be used) could be used, and maybe retextured. how bout that?
