senterpat
So I just started playing again, and decided to mod Skyrim this time around. So I installed the latest update and went to play the vanilla game for a bit, only to find my game plagued with this shadow problem:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxvKmCCgnd4&feature=relatedIve already tried updated my video card, and have been searching for several hours now trying to find a solution. When I couldn't find a solution, I decided to reinstall and play with no update, and just not get mods that require the update.esm. Only to be reminded of the original reason I quit playing, my Y axis moves at about an 80th the speed of my X axis, and after trying many solutions, I'm about ready to give up on this game. The solutions I've tried: adding the presentinterval=0, adding [controls] with Yscale modified, neither of these solved it. If anyone could offer any insight on either of these problems I'd be much obliged.
mojodajojo
If you like shadows, I have no solution. I for one have never found them to be something I notice much in games until Skyrim. And the noticing them in Skyrim was just to go, "Wow, shadows suck in this game!" I use the following mod in conjunction with .ini changes http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16464
