Standalone Outfit Studio Install.

I have to go away for a thing in a few days. I want to take my "work" with me. Is there a way to have an Installed version of Bodyslide/Studio outside vortex? OR. Do I Install Vortex on my laptop and then download bodyslide/outfit as a Mod and all the mods without Fallout 4? Since I am not working on the .esp for my outfits yet just working on the actual construction of the materials?

Should be ok but you will need fallout 4 or at least the meshes and textures in a data folder with the same root directory as the game would be. Steam/steam apps/common/etc.. you shouldnd need steam and everything just create folders with the same names.

Any textures you want it to read that are not vanilla game textures need to be added in the data folder in a folder named textures. Meshes/nif files you can put anywhere and import them to outfit studio when working on them.

What I ended up doing is doing a massive batch build and copied all the Material/Mesh/texture folder over and then using that to build the outfits and such. I also, fixed one of my biggest problems: I replaced the defult cbbe skin texture with my Players Unique skin texture with a simple material file creation... swap. Which I have now.. and it looks awesome
