myrmaad
Childbirth (in my opinion) should be kept natural and so if the mother and child are at risk then it is their time to go and I regret their departing from this life What a sick opinion. By these terms I'd be dead now, and my husband would have lost his wife. Thank God we only lost our baby, he didn't lose his baby AND HIS WIFE. Good thing I'm not running the country or the world, for that matter, because I think people who hold archaic opinions likes these have come to their "time to go". The depth of selfishness of such an opinion stuns me.
DarkWarrior45
Being homosexual is NOT a choice. I believe you are very wrong on that. Homosexuality IS a choice. I chose not to be gay. It was a CHOICE I made. And besides, the plumbing only works one way. Childbirth (in my opinion) should be kept natural and so if the mother and child are at risk then it is their time to go and I regret their departing from this life I agree. I believe that abortion is wrong, and is, in it's pure form, murder. And I will argue that point until I am blue in the face. It's not an issue about selfishness, it's a moral issue: "Does this country want to legalize the killing of unborn babies?" That's what the whole abortion issue comes down to. It's not an equality issue. I believe that Palin is a much better candidate than what we've had in a very long time. And like I said before, she has the right ideas for this country. So to kind of get off topic; personal rant.
UnholyShadow
Wow. Just wow. I was already dismayed this weekend both by learning that my room-mate would rather vote for McCain than "a Muslim" and by McCain's choice of VP. Not that I'd ever vote Republican anyway but this woman is SCARY and yet someone here is saying she is what we need. SO SAD. She has far less experience than Obama so let's hope McCain stops going on about Obama's inexperience but more frighteningly, her record so far shows she is completely against equality (which, I thought to be one of our so-called core values), was FORCED by the Supreme Court to give benefits to her state employees which she had fought against, is against abortion even when it is due to rape and / or the mother is at risk, is racist, homophobic and a complete religious nut. Just go and read what the Human Rights Campaign has to say about her. It is absolutely ridiculous that this woman could end up being President of the United States. If the Republicans somehow manage to get in again I'm going to seriously consider either going back home to England or perhaps to Canada as it would prove that this country has lost the plot. I don't understand your reasoning behind saying that she has far less experience than Obama. She's the governor of a state, which already qualifies her more than Obama. Because of this I don't even have to elaborate further, but I will anyway. She was also the mayor of a town, which may not seem like much, but it requires efficiently handling the day to day problems of an entire town, whose population was 4,000 when she was elected, but now has grown to over 10,000. In conclusion, she is obviously a much better choice than Obama. I have something else to say as well. I'm not saying Obama is a Muslim, but you seem to be defending him as if he was one. Since you like Muslims so much maybe you should go back to Europe, where the Muslims have almost taken over. Also, I would like you to humor me about one thing. What were all the meetings Obama had with Ayers? Previously in this topic, if I am not mistaken, you have defended Obama by saying he had no connection with Ayers, but it has been proved that he not only had some sort of connection with him, but that they were somewhat of friends. The most likely cause for the meetings is that they were planning to subvert the government, on some level, however small. This may sound absurd, but I do not find it that far-fetched after seeing some of the speeches that Obama has had, that were nowhere to be found in the mainstream media. Marxist ßastard
I would want both some of our troops to come back in USA, and lower gas prices... Unlike most idiots in my country, I see the way of freedom.Childbirth (in my opinion) should be kept natural and so if the mother and child are at risk then it is their time to go and I regret their departing from this lifeGood luck to you on your journey.I chose not to be gay.I love this thread. You might need your eyes tested (as well as your brain for that matter). I have never said he is a Muslim. That is a ridiculous belief that some have, stirred up by Republicans. I don't believe that he is or that the Democratic party would not have investigated him fully. And umm, last time I checked, Obama is a SENATOR, not merely a Governor or Mayor. Please pull your head out of your arse. I have also never posted anything about Ayers. Finally, learn how to write in paragraphs please, your post looks too much like a rabid rant. You didn't choose in the exact same way that we didn't. It was just your instinct, given to you by nature just as your eye colour. I'm still staying off the abortion replies because they are just far too upsetting but I will say I would not want to know you people in real life. buddah
Well this has drifted completely off topic. If it continues it is sure to end badly. *Closed* No other judgments on my part and we shall leave it at that.
