Mods install to nexus

The unofficial patch in SE DL'd into Vortex just fine, but everything else I try goes to NMM. What simple, easy to see thing that everybody else saw except me, am I missing?

Have you checked settings -> Associate NXM URLs in NMM? Unchecking that should disable mods downloading to it.

 

Check settings -> Downloads in Vortex and see if it's told to associate itself with NXM URLs. It's the one that has the picture of the mod manage download button.
