problems downloading mods

First of all i have very small computer experience and the only time i have ever modded was a basic Titan quest skin mod so very detailed help would be great. Anyways on to the problem for some reason it wont let me download mods from here it says "internet explorer has run into a problem and must close" but it doesnt close just stops the download. Any ideas why? Its really not much to go on i know. I do have the mod manager downloaded too.

This should really be posted under the game you are having problems with and not hardware. As different games mod differently, not knowing the game makes it difficult to give any advice.

 

However, #1 Can your computer run the game troublefree without mods?
