Sonck
you probably downloaded a .rar file, you have to extract this. after this there will be a new folder with the same name as the .rarin this folder there wille be a .esp file, and probably a few folders called meshes and textures. you have to copy thes to the oblivion/data folder and overwrite when asked. now your mod is installed, but you will still have to activate itto do this simply start oblivion launcher and click "data files". there will be a list with all your installed mods. simply check the mod to activate it, click ok an click play

Is the name of the one you downloaded "LPotD.7z"? You know it's posted here at Tesnexus also here in case you got the wrong version (non-english) by accident. The one here at the nexus is in OMOD format which might be easier.. maybe. You need to open it with the program 7zip. Download it here.
tyreil829
i got the Lost Paladins of the Divines mod & i went on the planet elder scrolls site & i went on the installing mods walkthrough & it told me to open the ESP folder & copy evrithing in it & copy it to somot to install the mod but it wont open wat do i do in order to install mod you need to place the mod you just downloaded into the Data Files ( example C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data) i would recommend using WinRAR and Oblvion Mod Manager and click on self installer they make downloading and setting up mods ready for play easier ( WinRAR is easy to set up and OBMM is self installer) anyway once you got the Lost Paladins of the Divines ( if you havent got WinRAR install it) unpack it and it should go into place ( leaving a ESP) once done there you go all you have to do is go into Data files in oblivion Launcher and tick it Note about Oblvion Mod Manger it must go into your oblivion folder ( C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion if that's how you set it up) hope that helps you good luck Col John Sheppard
Michlo
As the others have said, make sure you read the readme that comes WITH your mod, not just a general walkthrough. Also, you won't get this answered any faster by posting it in multiple locations. :P
