doctorzero0 Posted December 26, 2018 Author Share Posted December 26, 2018 I did a check--apparently general idea is that getting a refurbished board is a bit hit-and-miss, because sometimes you're never sure just HOW it's refurbished. I could be wrong. Anyway, that's besides the point--since I only have the one processor I may as well return the motherboard for a full refund (Amazon had this holiday deal thing) and get one that DOESN'T need a BIOS update.
