ShanoGamer01
So I was trying to launch TES5Edit64.exe (I downloaded the archive from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/?tab=files, this is the legit place, yes?), as I needed to clean my master files, however in attempting to do so I get prompted with a "Windows protected your PC", saying it can't recognize the program. I tried the non-64 version as well, same thing. The version I downloaded was 4.0.1, I am just curious as to whether this is the right place to be getting the program from? I went straight to Google to find some answer but it seems this problem has not been encountered. Any help would be great, thanks.
varkonasnorse
Open Windows defender and add TES5Edit to your white list (allow list). Should be fine after that. You'll have to restart your computer though. Edited December 25, 2018 by varkonasnorse
