Making a simple enchanted item.

I looked but no luck on find a tutorial. Its been a very long time sense I had been modding for oblivion, and I would like to know how I go about making my own enchanted item and putting it in a store.

Have you installed the oblivion construction set? If so, launch the program and hit File at the top, in the drop window click Data and check the oblivion esm at the top in the box to the left of it if you're wanting to make your own esp file, if you have already started your own then check that box also and before you hit the OK button, press Set as Active File. Wait for it to load..

ok, then in the Object Window. select 'Weapon'

the list to the right of that in the same window will have all the weapons in the esp

find the ID of the sword and double click there, or Right-click > Edit

you will see a drop window titled 'Enchanting' and you can select any enchantment from that window, set the 'Enchantment' to a desired number

If you like to make your own enchantment, in the object window should be a category 'Magic' and underneath that, 'Enchantment'

once you make your spell select 'Weapon' in the selected enchantment window

hope some of that helps, as far as giving it to a merchant just drop it in their merchant chest under WorldObjects > Container from the object window
