Multi
Rather than making a new post, I decided to bring this one back: The Thief III demo has been released. It can be found at the Official Thief III Site, FilePlanet, or at 3D Gamers. I am downloading it right now; I hope it lives up to its name. valdir
Bought the full game and have been playing with it for awhile. In between missions you can now explore a pseudo-openened town complete with guards who will kill on site. The AI is really as White Wolf described. It's still got the ability to notice stolen objects and poke around to find you. One example in it's faults is one time when I was discovered I ran around a column while the AI ran after me. I kept this up for about 20seconds and the guard stopped to take a quick rest.... while I was 3 feet away from him. I pittied him so I gave him 4 slashes with my dagger. And that's all it took. FOUR SLASHES. As you can tell I'm a little dissapointed but you can tell some thigns were done solely so Xboxers can play the game and have an easy time controlling. I haven't really encountered any multiple path objectives yet, but I also haven't gotten very far. Hoping it turns out better than Deus Ex2 did though. -val
