Deleted48367488User
I've always thought that it was stupid that only one weapon is visible on my character at any time. I've also always thought that it was stupid that the left-handed weapon has no draw animations when dual-wielding. She lugs around a two katanas and a bow, with a compliment of some kick-ass arrows, and yet I only ever see one of her katanas on her left hip, but it disappears when using the bow. So, why haven't I yet seen a mod that allows multiple weapons to be visible on the PC's body, and the proper animations one would expect when drawing those weapons? I know there's the dual-sheath mod (many of them, actually) and the dual-wield blocking mods, but nothing I've seen yet that allows a bow/crossbow, arrows, and dual sheaths/scabbards/other to be visible at the same time. And I know that it might be too much to ask for. Skyrim's combat system registers only the weapon/s equipped, not the weapon/s in the inventory, and that's the weapon that appears, for obvious reasons. Of course, I'm neglecting the Two-Handed players. It would be nice to have a sword under/next to your bow, both within reach. So, basically, what I'm requesting is a mod that allows multiple weapons to be visible on the PC's body, potentially with animations for drawing them, and the ability to switch between them at will. Because, in all honesty, how in the blue hell would the Dragonborn carry a bow in his/her pocket? I'm not new to using mods, but very new when it comes to creating mods, but I understand some of functionality and terminology involved. I'm open to suggestions, and I'll never pass up an opportunity to learn more about this stuff. If any Skyrim mod authors see this and find it of interest, let me know. Zebsi
why haven't I yet seen a mod that allows multiple weapons to be visible on the PC's bodyBecause you didn't look hard enough. For animations, use FNIS and Dual Sheaths Redux.
