Wants you go PC, you never go back

So I started out my Skyrim experience on the xbox, and I thought it was a great game. Loved the controls and the graphics, the content, ect. Then my friend suggested to me that I try it out for the computer for a number of reasons and was very adamant about it. I eventually caved and bought it for the pc too, and now I haven't even looked at my xbox for Skyrim in months. It's been so much better in every aspect; better graphics, better controls, better immersion, and more content.

However I don't want to wait for a couple months to play a Skyrim dlc that's already out. So I decided to load up my game on the xbox to get the dlc. However after playing my xbox file I realized I just couldn't bring myself to spend money on it. I actually started to not like the game simply because of it being on the xbox. Bad graphics (compared to what i'm use to on my pc), no mods, basically no immersion, and horrible controls.

So now i'm at a problem. I want to get the dlc so badly, and yet because of xbox being so damn selfish and making the exclusivity deal, us pc users (who make up a huge portion of their sales) and also the ps3 users have to sit patiently and wait until all of the content and secrets and Easter eggs have already been discovered. Way to go Bethesda, way to go..

True.. I switched to PC a couple of months ago, and I never want to go back to the 360 just because of the mods. But at least it's not a full exclusive, because that would be so selfish of Microsoft.

I too had this dilemma of wanting to play the DLC, but having it on the PC. Luckily I have a sister-in-law who has it for the XBox and bought the DLC, so I have been playing it on her XBox to fix my craving. So maybe you could find a friend with an XBox 360 that you can con into buying Dawnguard (and Skyrim if they don't have it yet), and letting you play; then you can get your DLC fix without the cost.

(I can see you now on the street corner with a sign, "Will work to play Dawnguard" ;) )

in general console gamers get the short end of the stick. pc is so much better because you can mod it. they have been modding ps3 and xbox games but it's a weird process and when i had my ps3 i didn't want to try it for fear of doing some damage and having to reinstall my system.

I was on PC, then switched almost exclusively to XBox. More stable, and I will never, ever have more than half a dozen mods on my machine, I just won't do it. I build mods, but most Skyrim play was on XBox.

Plus, it wasn't Xbox being selfish, it was Todd Howard favoring Skyrim for the XBox. All throughout the entire ad campaign, you would never hear Todd Howard shut up about how awesome the XBox was going to be for Skyrim.
