Bringing back Requiem for a capital wasteland

For those that don't know, Requiem for a capital wasteland was a mod that merged fallout 3 with new vegas recently, it was taken down due to licencing. here's a quote from a member of their team.

"The problem is licensing. We need permission from both Bethesda and Obsidian to allow a mod like this to exist, one that allows assets from Fallout 3 to be used in New Vegas. It is not a Piracy issue. We didn't have permission, so the site must come down."

so, my crap-shoot idea is to email bethesda and obsidian (i already have) and begged them to either give their well-deserved blessing, or make a bridge of their own. the more people get on this bandwagon, the more of a chance it has to actually work. that's the idea anyway. :ohdear:

So please, email them and spread the word! it's not hard (took me 10 minutes)

It's not like Requiem isn't available from other sites. It's still pretty obviously floating around if you Google it. I have no idea how far along they got with DLC implementation, mods, etc., but it's definitely still around.

There's a new version being worked on by a different team. I don't know any specifics, except that it is under development, and is planned for release at some point. I do know that it will build on RFCW, will fix all the issues it had, add correct support for DLC, and more fully integrate FNV features into Fo3. But that's all I know about it.

I bought NV UE and FO3 GoTY both for $14.98 really wanted this mod =/ i own NV, but the UE was cheaper than buying all of the DLC individually.
