@Gokumohan, contact the Steam support service group to resolve your lost CD-key issue:

https://support.steampowered.com/

no other legal method is available to obtain official Bethesda Skyrim update patches other than via

the Steam client interface.

Just buy the game - it is on sale at the moment. I find it hard to believe you "lost" your code

@Gokumohan, fyi, Steam Billing and Support services have multiple ways to verify your proof-of-purchase and

send you a CD Key (since yours is missing) so you can register, install, and update normally.

You'll need to open a support ticket with them.

to be honest, your statement:

"I bought skyrim but i lost the code that allows you to put it on steam, is there any other way to download update 1.6?"

logically makes little sense, you need to fix your game authentication issue before worrying about the update patch.

At the back of my head I think he downloaded it illegally, just saying maybe, maybe not.

Best to keep that at mind.

I bet he bought Skyrim and opened the box it was in and laid the box on the floor with the code that is stuck to the inside of the box and the dog chewed the box up.
