Deleted62427136User
Hi! I've been trying and failing to figure out a way to use the second specialist head looks from the light side, name "linnea" in game files, on any of the dark side first order officer heads. In theory it's just a head swap but I have been unable to find any help online and the in game variables and such aren't very helpful, plus the swap seems different than say, a hero model so there is that too. I would be grateful if anyone could either make the mod or point me in the right direction with a bit of tutorial. Anyway. Thanks for Reading!
Raptor52152
I found this post because I've been trying to do a similar thing. I've been successful in getting the head-swap to appear in the menus, but the game crashes when I load in to a map.All I did was follow this post:https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6283211-how-to-add-other-hero-accessories-to-heroes/Admittedly it took a few tries because the instructions aren't super clear. Basically just look at all of the DataContainers in a character's bpb file (ex: characters/hero/kyloren/kyloren_02/vur_kyloren_02_bpb)Find the one that has a head in the OutObjectBlueprint, and remove that datacontainer. This will delete the old head. You then have to add a new DataContatiner, and set its OutObjectBlueprint as the new head you want. Lastly, and this is important, you have to get linnea's bpb file, copy the name, and paste it into a new entry in each Map Description (the like I posted shows this with a little more detail). Like I said, I've only been able to get head-swaps to show up in the menus, and the game crashes when I launch a map. If you've gotten this to work since you made this post, PLEASE send me a tutorial, I'd really appreciate it. I'm getting frustrated that there are not guides on how to do this. Deleted62427136User
Hey, literally just saw this post as I have already given up in finding any help. Unfortunately I had no luck whatsoever with this idea so I'm of no help here, in fact it looks like you made more progress than I did!
