Mod request: Face retexture

Hi guys!

 

So basically, I need help that bethesda refused to deliver... Long story short - for some reason faces in my game look REALLY bad.Bethesda did nothing to solve this. The game itself works just fine, its just the faces that look like crap, and its a game killing thingy for me. So I thought - maybe there's a way of retexturing the faces? Maybe even using the textures from good old fallout 4? Is this even an option? I'd really appreciate any kind of help :smile:

I have this as well, started after the second patch (Face was fine up till then since I was running around barefaced and made two alts to buggerize around with) and after searching for a solution, or even anyone else having this issue, your post is the first i've seen of anyone else having this. Hope someone can find an answer.

I have the same problem. Does anyone figure how to fix this? I don't think is a texture issue. Is some weird light/shadow reflection effect over the face. If you notice, none of the textures are buged except the face. Please let me know if anyone found a solution.

After a while tinkering I found a temporary solution. For those having this issue go to your documents/mygames/fallout76. In the ini files (Fallout76Prefs) Look for

(( uFaceGenTextureResolution=1024 )) Change the resolution to 120. (( uFaceGenTextureResolution=120 )) This pic is my result. It will lower the face details but still looks way better. If anyone out there know of a better solution you are very welcome to post it here.
