Dragonfire12
I have an issue when making NPC Characters with the Creation Kit and inserting them into the game. Skyrim is my first game of this kind and I am new to modding (this is so much fun I quit SW:TOR and may not play GW2). On my CK created NPC's the Face is Dark compared to the Body and no amount of playing around will fix this with one exception. While In Game if I open the Console, select the NPC and type 'setnpcweight X' (where x is any value different from current) the face then matches the body. However, this only lasts until I zone at which point the face goes dark again. Can anyone help me, I can't find any tutorials on UTube that address this issue. mojodajojo
Highlight their editor ID in the CK and hit control +F4. Edit: Also, if you release the mod to the public, include the folders with the facegendata you exported when you hit control + f4. They should be located at: Meshes/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceGeom/ModNameHere.espTextures/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceTint/ModNameHere.esp This will save the end-user from having to do the control + F4 magic as well. Note: If the npc you changed is one that existed in the vanilla game (for instance Lydia) their info may instead be located at: Meshes/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceGeom/Skyrim.espTextures/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceTint/Skyrim.esp
