b14ckw4t3r
im trying to use the launch custom fallout 4 button in the nmm launcher. and when doing so it says "failed to launch 'f4se_loader.exe' The system cannot find the file specified." not sure if something has changed or i have to download the script extender seperately now i've used it in the past for this aswell as skyrim. any help would be much appreciated :) thanks
Guest deleted34304850
you need to install the f4se plugin, its required files and directories. the error message is telling you it cant be found. have you installed it?
Deleted3258978User
Here are the possibilities as I see them: You did not install f4se properly. Re-download, extract, and re-install it, following the read me, described here: Copy f4se_1_10_120.dll, f4se_loader.exe, and f4se_steam_loader.dll to your Fallout installation folder. Copy the Data folder over as well. You did not install f4se at all. You can find it here https://f4se.silverlock.org/ You may have renamed f4se_loader.exe to something else... Some people rename it to the fallout4launcher to launch through steam, but that means NMM won't find it as 'f4se_loader.exe'Lastly, the script extender for skyrim is NOT the same as the one for Fallout 4. I'm hoping you realize that, but from your initial post, it's difficult for me to determine.
