Just a little problem with bringing in info from other mods.

Alright, I think this is a pretty simple question, but I'm stumpped cause I'm not used to using the constrution set at all

So recently, i've started making simple mods, the usual stuff like dungons, NPCS and stuff. Nothing complexed, and I've really have no problems. However, when I want to incorperate other pieces from other mods into my mine, say for example I wanted to add in a custum race race for an NPC thats avalable as a playable class, the game crashes. Or when I want to put an NPC in some clothing from a mod, it doesn't appear on the NPC, even though I might have it in my invintory. Can someone explain this to me, I'm rather lost.

**Sigh, Ignore this, I figured it Out 10 seconds after posting. Talk about akward. My Bad**

you have to add the new item into your .esp

you cant load two .esp's and get the clothes and race into your .esp

unless theres a way but i never figured it out.

basically all you have to do is go to the armor tab and hit new and put in the mesh and texture and stats yourself so its a part of the .esp your making. same with races

hope that helps

Well, that is a way of doing it ninjaseikai, I did that once but It`s very time consuming. But incase theres anyone else like me out there, I can answer this question. I think you go to File-tools-combineloadedplugins, this as far as I tell pulls all the info from each of the used plugins and combines them into one esp file that goes to each individual mesh and object rather then trying to pull it from the the stats. The objects are still the same, as the Esp reconizes compatability between the two objects. (or so I think cause I tried stacking them in game and it worked.) Also, for the record you don`t lose your actual esps, it does not delete the old ones, it just creates a new one that incorperates all the parts of the other that you activily used.

I think.
