Unable to utilize mods

Hello fellow skyrim fans.

 

I'm completely new to whatever regards mods and stuff so bear with me if you will.So i installed the NMM and i managed to find several mods that i liked.I used the NMM,imported the mods,activated them all good but when i play the game none of the mods is active.Is it some kind of version issue?What would you guys advise me to do?

This shouldn't be a contributor now but just in case open your SkyrimPrefs.ini and look for/add the following line to the

 

[Launcher] section

 

bEnableFileSelection=1

 

This next one is more likely (hopefully) the cause of your issue;

 

Open your launcher, go to Data Files, simply press "OK" to leave that menu. Every time I add a new mod I have to go through this process. But while in there, double check to see if mods are loaded, just in case.

Thanks for the answer.Unfortunatelly the benablefileselection is already set to 1,but still the Data Files option in the launcher remains inactive.I tried setting the option to 0,so i can re-write it to 1,in case it glitched somehow,but when i try to save and ovewrite a ''Access denied'' window pops up..

Ok,i was doing it the wrong way,i should check for the one in my documents,not in the install dir.It is working fine now.still have some misc trouble,like,i activated a mod,more specifcly the Red Scythe Mod, in my NMM but can't access it in the Data Files,there is no option for it.I will just try to de-and-re-activate to solve the issue just in case.Thanks for your help,it is highly appreciated.
