Solus454 has received a formal warning. This user has now received 1 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

 

Upload of a mod by another author (unknown/unpublished) without providing the original author’s permission for use and redistribution on Nexus and without providing the original author’s permission/sub licence that allows the uploader to give permission for further use of the assets by the other author contained in the mod.


Uploader’s description (excerpt):
„ … First off this mod was made by someone who had it up the day x4 was released but it vanished that day. It had all the African's removed. So out of respect for their anonymity I will leave their name out of it. But I want to thank them for taking the time to make it. Yes I tried to look the person up to ask for permission but the name could not be found. …“

The last sentence alone took you to the edge of being banned from the site as being aware of the permission conditions to be considered.

No permission provided from the original author for use and redistribution.

Uploader’s „Credits and distribution permission“ (excerpt):

„Modification permission
You are allowed to modify my files and release bug fixes or improve on the features without permission from or credit to me

Asset use permission
You are allowed to use the assets in this file without permission or crediting me

Asset use permission in mods/files that earn donation points
You are allowed to earn Donation Points for your mods if they use my assets“

No permission/sub licence from the original author provided that allows the uploader to give such permissions for further use.

The original author has not been credited.
