PrimeXVII
[FIXED] The issue, as suspected, had to do with the ENB settings. I fixed the problem by going into the enbseries.ini and under "SSAO_SSIL" setting the value "UseSelfIntersecting = true." This was set to false and apparently caused this weird shadow striping issue. It seemed quite similar to the shadow striping issue Skyrim had for some people. [Old message] Hi all, So today I wanted to start playing F4 again after having not played it for over a year. I'm experiencing a really annoying visual bug though that I can't seem to fix. So what's the issue?: Whenever I install an ENB, I get this sort of grid-like visual effect (see picture) that I can't seem to fix. It might seem minor but it's actually really bugging me as it's constantly visible on everything. There are clearly visible vertical lines across my screen that are especially visible on lighter surfaces. What have I tried?: I've been able to pinpoint the cause of this effect to using an ENB. I deactivated all my mods, enabled only an ENB preset, and the effect returned. The effect is present with all three ENB's I've tried today: Visceral ENB, Subtle ENB and the NAC enhancer ENB. The effect is absent whenever I don't have an ENB preset active, regardless of the mods I have installed. I've done a full re-install of F4 itself, I've tried changing all the settings in the enblocal.ini, I've tried disabling and enabling different graphical settings (having settings like AA, AF or AO active, or not, makes no difference... the effect persists). Now I could obviously just play the game without an ENB, but would prefer to have it active. Any insight into what may cause this issue or how to solve it would be much appreciated. My best guess is that it has something to do with a certain ENB effect or setting, as all ENB's produce the effect (in differing degrees) and the effect is gone whenever I uninstall the ENB. What am I using?: Picture was taken with only the following mods active (mods that are required for the ENB preset):- NAC - Natural and Atmospheric commonwealth- Visceral ENB (with ENB v0.355)- ELFX- ENB Lights Overhaul- Truby9 Ultrawide I'm playing the most recent version of F4 on steam with F4SE (v1.10.120).Hardware: doubt it's necessary but just in case7700k, 32GB of RAM (3000MHz), GTX 1080Ti. Playing on a 3440x1440 screen. F4 is installed on a SSD. Edited January 4, 2019 by PrimeXVII
