Game not starting after modding it.

Hello!

I have a problem with mods again, but this time the load order seems fine, but the game won't start. Skyrim Launcher pops-up I press play, Steam says I'm in game and after a few seconds it just disappears.

Here is my load order:

  Reveal hidden contents

Everything is enabled, except HelgenReborn.esp and the DBM_HelgenReborn_Patch.esp due to me wanting to start a new game.

Any help is appreciated!

EDIT: A few new mods installed. Including the Official Immersive Creatures Patch and the Unofficial Wheels of Lull Patch.

New load order:

  Reveal hidden contents

EDIT 2: Changed some mods order. Probaly nothing major, just a little tweaking.

Even newer load order:

  Reveal hidden contents

Are you starting the game through skse64 launcher or the normal one?

I tried to start it through the skse64_loader.exe and also the normal Skyrim launcher, but neither works. SKSE properly installed and it's engine fixes also. No error message. Can't even get to the Bethesda logo.

Nope, verified game files, still the same. However I noticed if I use the SkyrimSELauncher and press start, sometimes it pops-up again. I click it again and the problem is still the same.

I also made sure every file is for SE not for Oldrim. The thing is If I delete the plugins.txt it disables all mods and works fine, but if I check every mod on again, It doesn't work. Could changing the graphics settings work?

EDIT: Nope, set to the lowest settings, still a problem. I could just run this game and Fallout 4 on medium (even high) with some lag, but playable. I still suspect some of the mods may be buggy or crash prone, albeit it could be my computer, but that is less likely.

EDIT 2: I read that Immersive Creatures may cause problems, but I have disabled it and it still doesn't work.

I don't see anything obviously wrong in your load order either. But TBH I don't know all of the mods you're using, so maybe I've overlooked something.

So, its more or less guesswork and "the usual routines":

- Make sure you got the current version of SKSE. The version of SKSE must fit the version of the game.

- Check mods depending on SKSE for updates. "Crash on black screen" scenarios are often caused by outdated mods depending on SKSE.

- If everything else fails: Start with an unmodded vanilla game. Then get SKSE up and running. Now add your mods one by one, until you experience problems again. Troubleshoot the mod(s) you added last (or don't use them).

On a side node: What mod manager are you using? If not on Vortex, use LOOT: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1918 Have a close look at warnings LOOT might give you.

Good luck!

Okay, I'm going the check out the mods. I report back if the issue persists or the issue solves. I'm grateful for your help!

Also, LOOT just gives bunch of ITM record warnings, but the SSEEdit doesn't find anything. Also don't wanna clean anything that might break the mods.

EDIT 1: arnima.esm not letting the game start, but Falskaar not causing any problems. Probably not a problem with big mods, just crash prone ones. (Solved: Same as Gray Fox Cowl)

EDIT 2: Gray Fox Cowl also not launching game and problematic. (Solved: Had the Oldrim version somehow, replaced it with the SE one works again.)

EDIT 3: Heavy Armory is a problem too. (Solved: Same as the two above.)

EDIT 4: Looks like the problem is solved.
