Kylon
I've had problems with Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization. It's a known issue and the mod has been pulled, but it seems for most people it only happens *after* you deactivate the mod. If it's not causing problems, I suggest you do not deactivate it either. If you accidentally do remove it, I think the only thing left is to revert to an older save; either one before you installed the mod, which is guaranteed to work, or one before you removed the mod (and then put it back). The second method hasn't been tested by anyone, but I assume it would work. Here's the creator's post on the issue: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1375181-relwip-sounds-of-skyrim/page__st__60__p__21220914#entry21220914 Read further for more details. There may be other ways to clean it out of your game, although it didn't quite work for me. Also the other two SOS mods don't seem to have this problem; seems to be just civilization. I've cleaned it out of my game since it was causing some problems with memory as well. (You would travel a certain distance and new cells wouldn't load... made for a totally hilarious opening sequence when you start a new game.) However, your lag may be caused by a different mod. I've been having problems recently (after reverting that SOS - Civilization mod) with Wearable Lanterns. I've been using the lanterns just fine until I started getting my follower to change her lantern positions. And then I started getting intermittent stutters plus huge Papyrus logs and increasing save game size. I've tried moving the lantern on her and also taking it away. It appears the log size and save game size are back on its way down to the proper size, but this isn't 100% confirmed yet. You might want to enable Papyrus logging and see which issue is causing the problem. Seems like maybe any mod taking advantage of Papyrus scripting isn't so stable...? gagoloth
2 - 5 sec freezes are the handy work of save game's being to large. Remove any large mod's that add massive content or change's large amount's of things in skyrim.
