keithbk Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 Imagine a black book that gives a special power... the Obvlivion Pocket Plane Yes, we've got Daedra Merchants and other abilities granted by Black Books, but why no Oblivion Pocket Plane? Conceptually, this would be a special "room" in Oblivion that could be accessed by the adventurer when travelling. Here, he can store a few items, perhaps mix a potion or enchant an item, etc. And when leaving, he is right back where he was when he entered the pocket plane. We're not talking a player home mod, nor do we have manequins in our pocket plane, but it does provide a nice spot to store a few "extra" items we may have picked up along the way. Some of you may have a sense of familiarity with this concept... especially if you played Baldur's Gate 2 with the expansions. And in Baldur's Gate 2, you met an imp named Cespenar who was something like an attendant who would take certain "ingredients" and combine them into very powerful or special weapons. Something like this would be a GREAT benefit to the player, especially if, littered about Skyrim, were parts to make said special weapons. Do a youtube search for Cespenar for inspiration.
