badger
I am new to morrowind so please bear with me! At the moment I have been mainly doing some basic mage quests, and now some of the Caius early quest stuff. I have levelled up twice, and cast a few spells. I have killed quite a lot of people (bad of course ;) ) but am still not very good at fighting. I have 'best attack' on, because I am very new to this and dont think I would be able to do it very well otherwise. When I attack I generally try and move around the enemeny, using a combination of quick clicks on the mouse, and some held down powerful ones. Am I generally fighting in the right way? I assume as I leverl up more I will get stronger and quicker etc. I haven't dared fight anyone that uses magic yet! Sorry for the questions, I am loving this game and getting lost inside, but I still finding my way a lot.
saldrex
There are a few things that you could do to help yo ufight stronger enemies. 1) Use potions before and during a battle, they can help you stay alive.2) A cheap trick is to fight at an empty house you can sleep in by running in and out and reating to heal your wounds3) When fighting any enemy try to always face it so that you hit.4) Use ledges and other hard to reach places as cover so that an enemy cannot hurt you. These are a few things that can help you in a battle if you need the extra edge. For the most part you are doing fine with your battle tactics. Also try joining the other 2 guilds the fighters guld and theeves guild. If you do not join them early enough sometimes you cannot join them later if you want to become the master or just plane do their quests.
Malchik
I would advise not to kill people who do not attack you as you sometimes find they are needed to complete quests. I read a post, can't remember from whom, where the Orcs in Ghorak Manor Caldera were annihilated. Ages later he discovered that he had lost access to one of the best swords in the game. Warring Paranoia
I love that sword, but it needs a higher charge because it gets very annoying to see the message 'Item does not have enough charge', pop up every time I hit an enemy with it. Become a vampire and turn it into Eltonbrand. Charge goes up from 50 to 500. Damage stats go up by 10 each and ratio from 75 to 90. And you add Fortify attack and restore fatigue! Worth the hassle.
