Windows 8 Dual Monitor Mouse Issue

Hey there,

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here, have searched a bit and have yet to find anything of value.

I've been running Windows 8 Consumer Preview since it was announced by Microsoft on Facebook, and aside from TERA Online breaking their support for Windows 8 (with no idea why), I have not had any issues with it, until I tried playing Skyrim again. Ideally, I wanted to play in full screen, and I was for a while, until I was allowed to move, and I noticed my mouse scrolled off onto my second monitor. Figured it would still interact with Skyrim (being the active window), and it was still moving me, so I ignored it until I needed to click, and it alt-tabbed the game.

So, being frustrated since the game froze when trying to maximize, I quit, and relaunched in windowed mode + administrator in hopes it would lock the cursor to the game. It did, until I got to the main menu, and it unlocked the cursor once more. Disabling the second monitor, and playing in windowed mode, the cursor still leaves the window. The only way it seems I can play properly is with my second monitor disabled, and full screened, which is not ideal for me.

TL;DR - Mouse is leaving Skyrim window, making it very, very difficult to play as it clicks on different windows and such.

Things I've tried...

  • Run as Administrator
    Windowed Mode
    Disable 2nd Monitor (not ideal)

Any help, or insight would be appreciated.

Turned out to be an issue with Raptr (which I forgot was running as it's never caused an issue before). Sad, because I like Raptr, but oh well.
