Sherentine
Savantra slowed a little bit to allow some leeway. "You can refer to me as Savantra." She eventually came to a slow walk as the water's edge glistened and shone in the fading sunlight. "Now, we're at the shore of the lake. The bandits we're after are across this lake within the mountains on the other side, closer to Carvahall. We can either walk around the lake, or we can find a method of some sort to cross it, shaving off an extra day from our journey." Putting her hand over her eyes to block out the sun, she scanned the lakeside, looking for a boat or ferry of some sort. "I didn't expect there to be anything of that nature, and it seems like there isn't anything.."
AurianaValoria1
Koralina, eager for sleep after eating so much, gladly accepted the blanket. Already almost asleep, she simply communicated feelings of love and warm contentment.
tokyobiohazard
Cecilia smiled and giggled a little, finding she was strongly affected by Koralina's emotions. She supposed that it would just take some getting used to, and wrapped Koralina in the blanket. Gently, she placed her inside the bag at her side, and fastened it as best she could. If she had to do any running, carrying the little dragon in her arms could prove to be a bit awkward, so she decided this would be the best way to carry her for now. Adjusting the laces on her boots, she looked up at the man who said he'd come with her, "Forgive me if you've already introduced yourself, but I don't know your name." mythicdawnmaster
Marcelle walked elegantly into the town, slightly burdened by the weight of the huge snake that was rested upon her shoulders. She strolled the street, children looking up from there games at the woman, who had a snake draped around her neck... they stood gawking, jaws ajar, and looks of both fear and curiosity on there faces. Marcelle hummed softly to the serpent as she went, heading for the general goods store. She entered the shop, and looked at the man running the store. He spun around from stacking the shelves, taken aback by the sight of the lady Marcelle, carrying the serpent, which hissed contently."Meat! Meat meat meat... meat!" She sung, then smiled at the man, leaning forward, her elbows on the counter. The man just looked puzzled. "Umm... this it the general goods store ma'am... i don't think i have anything large enough for your.... um... pet to consume."Marcelle looked sad and said "Ohh! What a shame... hmph, well then! I shall have to go and find somewhere else." She said with a puff."You can try the meat stall M'lady." The keeper said."Oh, well that is fantastic! Hopefully the goblins haven't ran off with the stall keeper... I'm going to buy some... MEAT!" She shouted the last part in a musical tone, making the keeper jump. She walked back outside, and headed for the market. She found the meat stall, and smiled at the man running the store. She purchased a few chunks of meat. Edited July 19, 2012 by mythicdawnmaster
Flipout6
Thorand smiled as the dragon's emotions touched his mind. All she seemed to be doing with her thoughts was radiating them, she wasn't sharing them with just her rider. He looked at Cecilia, who giggled a little, probably (he hoped) at the dragon."I'm Thorand, son of Noland. Son of a travelling merchant, former Varden soldier. Pleased to meet you."A woman, (with a SNAKE on her shoulders.) came into the shop, scaring the life out of the shopkeeper, and singing about meat. She didn't seem to notice Thorand or Cecilia, and was gone as fast as she entered. Thorand frowned a little, but disregarded her, for the moment. BaldurAnthology
Byron pants slightly as they come to a stop. He wasn't in as good of shape as he had been in Faerun, he had let himself go to seed slightly. He looks at the woman. "Alright, then! Let's go bring the hammer down on these thieves. Do yeh need anything? Food? A better weapon? I have a few in my bag, ye know!"
AurianaValoria1
Koralina, snuggled comfortably in the blanket, relaxed and allowed herself to fall asleep, her crystalline humming fading until she finally fell into warm blackness.
Flipout6
The dragon's thoughts faded from Thorand's mind, and he supposed that she had fallen asleep. He was a little relieved. He wasn't used to telepathy, especially from a dragon. Even a hatchling's mind was at least as powerful as full-grown man's, probably from their time in the egg. He had no idea how Cecilia would get used to that constantly, but then, she was an elf. She had a lot more time to learn magic before now, and would have a lot more time even after Thorand died, whenever that was. Until then, his mind was clear."If we're heading for Du Weldenvarden, we'd better gather some supplies. That's a long, long trip." He told Cecilia. "Of course, you know that much already. But the point still stands."
tokyobiohazard
"It's not so long a trip." Cecilia stepped out of the shop and smiled back at Thorand, "We're already very close to the fringes of the forest... But the trip to Ellesmera, now that is a long one." Sherentine
Savantra shook her head and took the bow from around her body. "I'm fine, I have my bow to take care of things before anything turns ugly." She sighed and stretched slightly, judging that the south end would be the fastest way around the lake. "We'd better get moving however. It'll be nighttime soon so we don't have much daylight to travel by, and the hideout is rather far. I suggest we make camp once we reach the southernmost point of the lake." Savantra pointed to the far end, a few kilometres away.
