new here and already with questions lol

hey guys i wanted to say hi and also wanted to clear my mind a little bit about a few questions i have. ok.
i am trying to mod tony hawks pro skater hd and im only beginning to read upon the wiki article on this website (btw thanks for the dark background) as far as i know i need to understand the .upk file format package that comes with the game and only because im using a hex editor to hopefully tweak some things i dont like about this release, mainly physics attributes and hopefully in the future (as i progress with my c++ knowledge) add some features that were lost during the transition of studios (such as the double tap tricks which they did not implemented) but to keep things in order i only wanted to know more about what the nexus forums would bring to me if i were to subscribe to it as a premium member... i really dont know what is it thats in store im really interested in learning about hex or c++ or overall modding stuff and tools that would make this process smoother, but i only have so many questions i really dont know where to start; i only wanted to say hi and be a part of this community. cheers!!
