gob2 Posted January 11, 2019 Share Posted January 11, 2019 (edited) Hi. I'm trying to rig up some armor on a mirelurk using vanilla assets. I've loaded the nif in nifskope, exported an obj, put it in Outfit Studio, copy bone weights, go in and paint bone weights where necessary, export nif, go to nifskope, connect BGSM, etc etc. You know the drill. But half the armor pieces are invisible on the mirelurk. No idea why. If there are weights missing, Outfit Studio tells me. I don't think that's it. Messing with Object Bounds on each armor piece, whether increasing them to 20 or 50, don't affect any change. I haven't gone through and tested every piece of armor on every single armor slot but that's the next step.   So far the invis pieces are consistent, there's at least that. I can get a piece to show up on the face and on the left front leg, but if I attach it to the left claw, invisible. Why? Do different armor slots have different object bounds? Could it be a mod conflict? I don't know. I've tried to get this to work for a long time. I've read every tutorial I can find, I've watched several videos. Bleh. Quite frustrating. Thanks for having a peek. I'd much rather have someone point out where I'm making mistakes than never make any progress.
