Performance And Graphics Problem

Hi,

 

First sorry for my bad english.

 

I can't run skyrim with Great graphics. i only can run skyrim with low Graphics (800x600 screen) and i think my computer should be able to run with better graphics.

 

My computer:

Windows Vista 64-bit

NVIDIA GeForce 8400 -Driver Version: 296.19

Processor: AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor 2.20 GHz

DirectX Support: 10

Memory(RAM): 5.00 GB

CUDA cores: 8

Core Clock: 540 MHz

Shader Clock: 1300 MHz

Memory Clock: 500 MHz (1000 MHz Data rate)

Memory Interface: 64-bit

System video memory: 0mb (What is this?)

IRQ: 16

Bus: PCI Express x16

 

Thanks And please help me to know what's wrong or what could be wrong., What can i do.

Meh i would change the video card thats probably the main problem behind this.

From what I've read, you have the lowest-end of low-end video cards; barely better than integrated video.

Your processor is also a touch on the old and slow side, though it's probably adequate.

You do have plenty of RAM for the moment.

 

I'm not sure why you would think that your computer "should" be able to play higher settings; you should probably consider yourself lucky that it can run Skyrim at all considering how weak your video hardware is.

 

 

Enjoy it as you can for now, try to fit upgrading components into your budget over the next several months~
