The fix is to not install it with NXMM. It doesn't like the C# script.

FOMM will install it and every other mod just fine.

thanks for that I was trying to use NMM due to some tutorials on the internet but got my game screwed up and had to do a clean instal

NMM works fine, it's just not so good compared to FOMM.

I had a detailed guide about how to get both working at the same time, but I can't remember where it is now. The basic idea is that you install FOMM first. Then you go into the settings menu and change the "Install Info" path to something other than the default. Once you've done that for both games (if you have both), then you can install NMM. Once it's installed, make sure that the info paths are not the same ones that FOMM uses.

All that being said, as the guy who provides support for PN, I don't support an NMM install, since it doesn't work correctly. So FOMM is your only option then anyway.

What FOMM features are vital to PN's install?

It seems to me the most complex thing is the XML menu installs.

Does it just copy replacement XML files into the menu folders or does it actualy merge them somehow?

Or is it that it detects what GUI mod the user has installed and changes what XML files it installs?
